Apart from the home team’s dominance with the bat and ball, the series-deciding 5th T20I between India and England hogged the limelight for a heated exchange between Virat Kohli and Jos Buttler.
The incident happened during the 13th over of England’s innings. Kohli was seen charging towards Buttler after the latter got out to Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
The video of the incident surfaced on the internet and it seemed that the Indian captain was left furious by something Buttler said while walking back to the pavilion.
The England opener also stopped on his way and went back towards the pitch to continue the chatter, though the matter remains unknown yet.
Kohli was then seen having an animated discussion with the umpires on the incident as Buttler and Jonny Bairstow joined Dawid Malan at the crease.

Coming to the match, India thrashed England by 36 runs in the decider to clinch the T20I series 3-2.
Invited to bat first, the hosts rode on skipper Virat Kohli’s 52-ball 80* and vice-captain Rohit Sharma’s 34-ball 64 to pile up a massive 224/2 in 20 overs.
In reply, the visitors could only manage 188/8 in their stipulated 20 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (2-15) and Shardul Thakur (3-45) were the stand-out bowlers for India.
