England skipper Eoin Morgan while talking about the second T20I match said that Virat Kohli led Team India came out all guns blazing in the match and played really well.

Team India on account of skipper Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 73 and debutant Ishan Kishan’s 56 runs crush England by 7 wickets in the second T20I of the five-match series.

With the seven-wicket victory over England in the second T20I at Narendra Modi Stadium, Team India leveled the five-match T20I series 1-1.

Speaking about the loss at the post-match presentation, England’s skipper Eoin Morgan said that Team India came out all guns blazing and put their bowlers under pressure.

“With the bat, I do not think (we were) that far and I think India played really well. And on top of that, they came with all guns blazing and managed to get away from us in the period where we did not manage to do that. So, that put our bowlers a little bit under more pressure,” Eoin Morgan said during the post-match presentation.

However, the ongoing five-match T20I series between India and England will serve as great preparation for both teams for the ICC T20 World Cup, which is set to take place in India later this year.

While talking about the same, Morgan said that England is going through the process of learning game by game. He added that the ongoing series against India will allow them to be best prepared for the T20I World Cup.

“To become better in these conditions, you are going to do that by playing and making mistakes. You tend to learn quickly if you are winning, you are confident and everything runs smoothly. But equally, if we have to learn the hard ways, we are still going through that process of trying to learn the game on game.

“So when it comes to World Cup in seven months’ time, we can be as best prepared and know more about ourselves and where we need to get better,” he said.

The third T20I between India and England will take place on 16th March at Narendra Modi Stadium.
