England all-rounder Moeen Ali was not included in the playing XI for the first T20I against India. But Ali was still all over Twitter for a post-match incident that caught everyone's attention.
Ali was blanked by his teammate Jofra Archer after England won the match by 8 wickets. As Archer got up from his seat in the dug-out and hugged Adil Rashid, Ali was waiting for a high-five from him. He was unknowingly ignored by the fast bowler.
Twitterati felt for Ali and some of them even jokingly connected his situation with themselves. There were a few memes on the incident as well.

Talking about the match, England were in no mood to stretch the chase till last over. They got off to a flying start and finished the chase of 125 runs in the 16th over. Jason Roy and Jos Buttler added 72 runs for the first wicket partnership.
While Indian batsmen struggled with the bat, England lost only 2 wickets to seal the match. For India, their top-order batsman couldn't last till the powerplay. They lost Shikhar Dhawan (4), KL Rahul (1), and Virat Kohli (0) inside the first six overs. Only Shreyas Iyer got a half-century.
