Team India head coach Ravi Shastri has no problem with the social media memes made on him. He said it's okay for him if the memes and jokes make people laugh at his expense.

The 58-year-old, speaking during a press conference after India's 3-1 victory over England, said the memes don't affect him and he's always up for the banter. Shastri often trends on social media for his statements and pictures.

"It's banter all the way. They do it to have fun. It's at my expense, but it's okay," Shastri said. "Have a drink on my name. When you post those kind of things, so many people have a laugh. Enjoy, it doesn't affect me. As long as the team does well, I'm happy," he said.

Shastri also commented on the criticism of his coaching and said, "In cricket, if you are playing well and succeeding, people will be happy with you, and when you are not winning, you have to face some kicks and slaps."

There have been regular jokes about Shastri's love for the drinks and he takes it sportingly. Even recently, he had reacted to a meme posted by a journalist on social media positively.

"Love the banter ! Feels good to bring some smiles in these tough times," he had posted.
