The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly lauded Team India for their Test series victory over England and said that despite being in the bio-bubble for long Virat Kohli led side has played outstanding cricket.
Team India thumped England by an innings and 25 runs in the fourth Test match to grasp the four-match series 3-1.
Resuming their day with the overnight score of 294 for 7, with a lead of 89, Team India on account of Washington Sundar’s 96* posted a total of 365 runs. Akshar Patel and R Ashwin however took five wickets each to wrap up visitors for only 135 runs and end the final Test inside three days.
Weighing on Team India’s emphatic 3-1 series victory, current BCCI president and former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly took to his Twitter handle and praised Team India’s monumental effort to play outstanding cricket despite being in bio-bubble.

With the victory, Team India also sealed their spot in the inaugural World Test Championship (WTC) final, where they will take on New Zealand.
