Team India fielding coach R Sridhar took to Twitter to laud the performances of local boy R Ashwin and Indian skipper Virat Kohli in the second Test against England in Chennai.
Rohit Sharma helped India put up 329 with a brilliant 161-run knock in the first innings. Since then, it was all Ashwin on top of England with a five-wicket haul in their first innings and a century in India's second innings. His figures of 5/43 produced Test fifer no. 29 for the off-spinner and the knock of 106 was his 5th Test century.
Along with Ashwin's knock, it was the crucial innings of 62 runs off 149 deliveries from Virat Kohli that took India to a total of 286 in the second innings setting a target of 482 for England to win.
