Indian skipper Virat Kohli shared a couple of pictures of himself from practice sessions from the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai ahead of the second Test match against England.

Kohli scored 11 and 72 in the first Test at the same venue held last week. His performances with the bat, along with the rest of his teammates, were not enough as Team India lost to England by a huge margin of 227 runs.

Conceding a 1-0 lead to the opposition, the Indians will be motivated for a strong fightback similar to the one they showed against Australia in the space of the last 2 months. Skipper Kohli, who is waiting for his 71st international century for the last 14 months, will be extra motivated given how he likes to perform when put under pressure.

A day before the second Test, Kohli was seen dedicated to his net sessions and fielding practice. He shared a couple of pictures from his official Twitter handle with the caption, "The work goes on".

Virat Kohli's captaincy has been put under pressure by former cricketers, cricket pundits, and a lot of fans from around the world. Ajinkya Rahane's exceptional results as captain have given impetus to talks of him replacing Kohli as the captain of Team India for the longest format of the game.

With all this at the back of his mind, Kohli might need to put his aggressive best out there on the field and shut down his critics.
