Indian legend Bishan Singh Bedi took to his Twitter handle and lashed out at Team India for blaming the newly designed and hand stitched Sanspareils Greenlands (SG) balls which are being used in the ongoing Test series against England for their loss in 1st Test.

He further said that to blame the SG ball or the wicket or the toss would be barking up the wrong tree.

The new-look SG ball, which has a darker color, harder cork, and heightened seam, and is used for the first time in the series was put underneath scrutiny following India’s defeat to England as Indian skipper Virat Kohli along with ace off-spinner R Ashwin blamed the ball for getting degraded in quick time.

Addressing the blame Indian players put on SG ball, former Indian cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi took to his Twitter handle and said that to blame the SG ball or the wicket or the toss can be barking up the flawed tree.

“I missed out on Indn debacle yesterday..which was all the time on playing cards..however to ‘blame’ the SG ball or the wicket or the toss can be barking up the flawed tree-regrouping is as a lot the necessity as appreciating English dedication to grind & win-also by no means underestimate any opposition!” Bishan Singh Bedi Tweeted.
