England off-spinner Dom Bess got the big wicket of Indian skipper Virat Kohli in his first outing in a Test match in India. He believes that the wicket of Kohli is certainly one of the most satisfying ones but he is happier with the entire process he went through to get the big man out.

Dom Bess picked not only the Indian skipper but also his deputy Ajinkya Rahane along with half-centurions Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant. He has taken arguably the four most important wickets once he came on to bowl.

The 23-year-old was asked by reporters at the end of the third day's play whether the wicket of Kohli was the most satisfying wicket of his career. He looked happy but didn't want to go over the top with the celebrations and hence kind of played down the wicket while also speaking highly of the Indian skipper.

Bess said, "It’s certainly up there. The player of the caliber of who he is, I think phenomenal, a world-class player, one of the best. But again, it’s more of a process — what I’m learning, what I’m doing that is getting me to that."

"It was looking to get him out but it was not about bowling that magical ball. It’s about smashing in 10-15 balls in a good area and then something will happen.”It’s that process of getting there and that’s what I was really pleased about," he added.

The offie also praised his spin twin Jack Leach, who found his length after being smacked by Rishabh Pant and kept bowling it with quality.

"Pant is a completely different player, Pant played a phenomenal inning. But how Leachy came back and just came smashing the length shows his qualities," Bess said.
