Former India cricketer and famous commentator Sanjay Manjrekar has questioned Rishabh Pant's wicket-keeping skills. His tweet came on day 3 of the first Test between India and England after Pant missed an easy stumping of Jack Leach off the bowling of R Ashwin.
Manjrekar was critical of the way Pant blundered the stumping opportunity off R Ashwin's bowling. He wrote 'the opportunity missed tells a lot about Pant as a wicket-keeper' in his tweet. However, the mistake didn't cost India much as they got the last wicket very soon.

Indian bowlers had to struggle to get the last few wickets after long partnerships from England in the middle-order. Leach and Dom Bess added 42 runs for the ninth wicket.
"Everyone misses stumping. Even great keepers do but the way Pant missed that stumping of Leach off Ashwin tells me all I need to know about Pant the keeper.", tweeted Manjrekar after the missed stumping.
England were at 572/9 when Ashwin nearly got Leach out. They eventually got all out on 578 after the offie bowled James Anderson.
