IND v ENG 2021: PICS - Indian team’s first outdoor session at Chepauk after completing quarantine

Indian players began their preparations for the first Test starting on February 5.

Both Indian and England teams completed their 6-day mandatory quarantine at the Leela Palace Hotel in Chennai and cleared the mandatory COVID tests as well, getting permission to begin outdoor sessions and nets which begin tomorrow. 

England’s Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer and Rory Burns have already begun their practice as they arrived in India before their teammates who arrived from Sri Lanka.

BCCI on Monday (February 1) shared photos of Team India players after their first outdoor practice in Chepauk on their official Twitter account.  

Meanwhile, the TNCA have asked permission from the BCCI to allow 50% crowd in the stadium for the second Test match after revised regulations from the government mentioned so.
