Nathan Ellis got Virat Kohli out for 30 runs | GettyVirat Kohli was looking good until Nathan Ellis cut short his innings by dismissing him LBW in the second ODI between India and Australia being played in Vishakhapatnam on March 19, 2023. Australia had won the toss and chosen to bowl first.

Nathan Ellis replaced Glenn Maxwell and Alex Carey took Josh Inglis’ place with keeping gloves. For India, Rohit Sharma returned to the XI and replaced Ishan Kishan at the opening spot and India went in with an extra spinner in Akshar Patel in place of Shardul Thakur.

However, Mitchell Starc proved to be a thorn in India’s side once again as he picked 5/53, while Sean Abbott took 3 wickets and Nathan Ellis took two scalps, as Indi was bundled out for 117 runs.

While Akshar Patel remained not out for 29 runs, taking India past the 100-run mark, the top-scorer for India was Virat Kohli, who made 30 in 35 balls with 4 fours. While initially, he countered the inswinging deliveries from Starc well; Nathan Ellis got him as him being a right-hander changed the direction.
