As Virat Kohli made a mockery of the Australian bowlers to storm back into his best in Test cricket in the Ahmedabad match, Delhi Police had a special request for their Gujarat counterparts, as they were wishing the Indian cricketer on notching up his 28th Test hundred on March 12.
Kohli left the Australian bowlers bruised, as the dashing right-hander played a stunning knock of 186 runs to put Team India in the commanding position in the ongoing fourth and final Test at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
His 75th international ton and 28th Test hundred came after a 1205-day hiatus, and everybody is just hailing the modern legend. Joining them, the Delhi Police wished Kohli in a unique way that won many hearts on social media.
Delhi Police’s epic tweet to celebrate Kohli’s achievement went viral on social media, as they urged their Gujarat counterparts not to book Virat "for voluntarily causing hurt to the guests."
Delhi police said in a witty tweet: "Dear @GujaratPolice, don't book our Delhi boy #ViratKohli for voluntarily causing hurt to the guests. AUS-SOME, game". They also captioned a picture of the former Indian captain with a quote: "Bura na maano Kohli hai".
