Virat Kohli might have shifted base to Mumbai, but he still remains a ‘Delhiite’ in his heart. India will play the second Test of the four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 series at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi with a lead of 1-0.

If India wins this Test match as well, they will move one step closer to the no.1 Test ranking position and towards the final of the ICC World Test Championship 2023.

Ahead of the second Test between India and Australia, the talismanic batter was spotted at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on the eve of the second match of the series against Australia. He was leaving the stadium after the practice in his swanky Porsche car and was almost mobbed by the admirers present nearby.

Kohli had earlier shared an Instagram story, revealing that he would be driving to the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Born and brought up in Delhi, Kohli shifted to Mumbai in 2016 and he hasn't been seen in the national capital a lot since then.

While Kohli has scored centuries in T20Is and ODIs after a three-year lull with the bat, he still awaits a century in Test cricket as his last ton in whites came in November 2019 against Bangladesh. However, Delhi has been a happy hunting ground for Kohli as he scored 243 against Sri Lanka in the 2017 Test here.
