KL Rahul had a great One Day International (ODI) series against Australia as a full-time wicket-keeper batsman, though he had to bat at different positions in all three ODIs but he brilliantly seized every responsibility at the hand.

In the first ODI, Indian captain Virat Kohli has given his No. 3 batting slot to Rahul and he managed 47 runs but the right-hander could manage only 16 runs, eventually, India suffered a massive defeat of 10 wickets in Mumbai against Aaron Finch and his Australian troop.

In the second ODI in Rajkot, the Karnataka batsman brilliantly made his chance count while batting at No. 5, as he scored a 52-ball-80 and effected three dismissals to help India to win the match to level the just-concluded ODI series.

Well, in the series decider ODI in Bengaluru, Rahul had to open innings for India after Shikhar Dhawan injured his shoulder during the first innings.

However, he could not contribute much (19 runs) in India series 7 wicket victory, as Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s brilliant performance clinched series 2-1 for the hosts against Australia.

Seeing the frequent changes in Rahul’s batting positions in the Indian line-up, the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) has joined other social media users to take a dig at the same, sharing a funny post to mock his batting position in the team.
