IND v AUS 2020: WATCH- Manish Pandey takes a one-handed stunner to send back Warner

IND v AUS 2020: WATCH- Manish Pandey takes a one-handed stunner to send back Warner

India out on 340/6 batting first in Rajkot ODI.

Manish Pandey took a one handed blinder | TwitterThe second ODI between India and Australia at Rajkot saw the Indian batting click massively as they posted 340 runs on board when asked to bat first by Aaron Finch, who won the toss. This was kind of redemption for the Men in Blue after the 10-wicket mauling at Mumbai in first ODI.

However, despite the total being a big one, Australia must have backed themselves to chase it down, given that both openers Warner and Finch made unbeaten hundreds in Mumbai ODI and this time too, they were expected to give a good start to the Kangaroos.

IND v AUS 2020: Cricket fraternity reacts as KL Rahul’s magnificent 80 takes India to 340/6 in Rajkot ODI

Warner started off well and raced to 15 runs with the help of two boundaries. However, Mohammad Shami got one ball to hold onto the pitch in the fourth over and Warner went for an aerial cover drive, only to find Manish Pandey, probably one of the best fielders in the Indian team, jumping up and plucking the ball out of thin air with his right hand.

Here is the video of the catch:

Earlier, thanks to Shikhar Dhawan’s 96 and Virat Kohli’s 78, Indian team laid a good foundation, on which, then KL Rahul (80 off 52 balls) capitalized and took India to a formidable total.
