Team India suffered its second successive defeat in the ongoing five-match ODI series against Australia, as the visitors chased down 359 in Mohali, to draw level in the series. The final match of the series will be played in Delhi on March 13.

The fourth ODI saw a bulk of changes made by Indian team as along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal, and KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant took over from MS Dhoni as the wicketkeeper of the team, after Dhoni was rested for the last two games.

Pant impressed with the bat scoring a 26-ball 34, however, the youngster didn't have a happy return behind the stumps, missing a few clear-cut chances. He missed two crucial stumping chances including one of Ashton Turner, who changed the course of the game with his 84* in 43 balls and took Australia to the win.

In order to atone for his mistake of missing the stumping, Rishabh Pant then tried to run Alex Carey out trying to do an MS Dhoni styled flick. In the process, the ball missed the stumps and Australians got an extra run out of it. The Mohali crowd was already miffed with Pant and chanted Dhoni, Dhoni, Dhoni and booed him; and this missed chance made Kohli mad as well.

Virat looked completely miffed with Pant after the missed runout, nor did the bowler Yuzvendra Chahal, as Pant smiled to diffuse the situation.
