India's number 4 batting spot is a cursed position, isn't it? It doesn't matter how your recent form is, the moment a batsman is asked to bat at number 4, he starts failing in the long run. India thought they have got a solid number 4 batsman after Ambati Rayudu showed potential with the bat at number 4.

But his back to back failures has again started to put a question mark on the number 4 spot. Will the selectors persist with Rayudu in upcoming matches and go with him in the World Cup 2019? There is still no much clarity about it. But the fans definitely aren't in support of Rayudu.

Rayudu failed in a crucial situation once again. He couldn't stand there when the team needed him to. The 33-year-old was undone by a beautiful delivery from Aussie pacer Pat Cummins.

Once seen as a confirmed batsman for the World Cup, Rayudu was dismissed on just 2. He left behind a score of 0, 24, 13*, 47, 40*, 0, 13, 18, and 2 to judge his performance.
