India to tour South Africa in December for three Tests, three ODIs and four T20Is

India's next overseas assignment will be in South Africa this winter.

Cricket South Africa on Thursday (September 9) confirmed the fixtures for the three Tests, three ODIs and four T20Is against India from December 17, 2021 to January 26, 2022. The Test series will be part of the ICC World Test Championship, while the ODIs will be part of the ICC ODI Super League.

“It is probably the most congested home summer we have ever had,” said CSA Director of Cricket, Graeme Smith. “It is wonderful in these challenging times that there will such high-quality cricket being played on our shores. This includes a full tour by India across all three formats.”

India A will also play three four-day matches in South Africa just ahead of the Test series between the two teams.
