Apart from the home team’s dominance with the bat and ball, the third ODI between New Zealand and Bangladesh in Wellington hogged the limelight for Trent Boult’s stunning fielding effort to dismiss Liton Das on 21.

During the 7th over of Bangladesh’s innings, Matt Henry bowled a length delivery aimed at the body of Liton, who closed the face of his bat too early and got a leading edge.
Boult, who was stationed at third man, anticipated the catch brilliantly as he covered the ground and then dived at full length to complete the grab with his outstretched left hand.
After his superhuman effort, the left-arm pacer held the pose and signalled OUT as his Kiwi teammates went charging towards him to celebrate the wicket.
Twitterati were once again left speechless by the fielding brilliance of Trent Boult.
Here are the reactions:
Coming to the match, New Zealand piled up 318/6 in 50 overs after opting to bat first. Devon Conway (126 off 110 balls) and Daryl Mitchell (100* off 92 balls) were the stars with the bat.
In reply, the visitors got bowled out for a paltry 154 in 42.4 overs to suffer a humiliating 164-run defeat. Jimmy (5-27) and Henry (4-27) were the wrecker-in-chief with the ball.
With this victory, New Zealand also inflicted a 3-0 whitewash over Bangladesh in the ODI series.
