India pacer Mohammed Siraj bowled 10 overs on Day 2 of the Manchester Test against England and conceded 58 runs from it, but failed to claim any wicket.
During his spell, Siraj also lost his cool at Ben Duckett and got engaged in a verbal battle with the English opener.
The video of Siraj expressing anger while pointing his fingers at Duckett was shared by Star Sports on X, and it went viral within no time.
Duckett took the Indian bowling attack to the cleaners on Thursday (July 24), adding 166 runs for the opening wicket with Zak Crawley (84). The southpaw slammed 94 off just 100 balls with the help of 13 fours. He was unlucky to miss out on a deserving century.
Duckett was dismissed by debutant Anshul Kamboj on the first delivery of the 39th over as a ball kissed an edge of his bat, and Dhruv Jurel completed the catch.
In reply to India’s first inning score of 358, the hosts reached 225/2 in just 46 overs at stumps on Day 2. Oille Pope (20*) and Joe Root (11*) will resume innings for England on the third day.
