On 20 August, Tamim took to Twitter to praise Kohli for his incredible show with the bat against England. He wrote, “@imVkohli is unbelievable what an innings ????????????????????????”

The Delhi lad scored 103 off 197 balls laced with 10 boundaries, which helped India to take a mammoth lead in Nottingham with England requiring another 498 runs to win the third Test.

At the moment, there are only Tendulkar (51), Rahul Dravid (36) and Sunil Gavaskar (34) have more centuries than Kohli among the list of top century makers for India in Tests.
