England's Test series against India is very close and the Test specialists James Anderson and Alastair Cook are gearing up for the upcoming challenge. Anderson and Cook were seen conquering the Yo-Yo test ahead of the series. They paired up to take the test and both the Englishmen were seen running with full force to the marked area.
The 33-year-old Cook was soon on the floor after completing the sprint. His teammates Joe Root and Stuart Broad were seen cheering up the batsman.
India and England will face each other for the first Test on August 1 at Edgbaston. The series already looks heated up after English pacer Anderson had made comments on Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The speedster has doubt on Kohli's claim that team success in England means more to him than scoring runs. He said the Indian batsman would like to end the drought of runs in England.
England squad for the first Test:
Joe Root (capt), Moeen Ali, James Anderson, Jonny Bairstow (wk), Stuart Broad, Jos Buttler, Alastair Cook, Sam Curran, Keaton Jennings, Dawid Malan, Jamie Porter, Adil Rashid, Ben Stokes.
