MS Dhoni had a difficult second ODI with the bat as he was criticized for his slow batting. He scored 37 off 59 with only a couple of fours from his bat. But what followed after his dismissal made the fans unhappy. Dhoni was booed by the spectators present there at the Lord's.
The 37-year-old didn't actually go for the attack and that is what made the fans unhappy. Skipper Virat Kohli sent Shardul Thakur and Akshar Patel to convey a message. It was probably to ask Dhoni to go for big hits. But just when he tried to hit one out of the ground, the finisher was caught out.
The crowd wanted some entertainment but they didn't get any.

India lost the game by 86 runs as they failed to chase 323 in 50 overs. The highest scorer for India was Suresh Raina, who added 46 runs. When Virat and Raina were in the middle, it seemed like men in blue are getting back on track. But Moeen Ali getting Kohli out turned the game.
India and England will lock horns on June 17 in the series decider.
