Hubli Tigers won the match by chasing 12 runs in the 3rd super over.

Hubli Tigers celebrate | KSCAHubli Tigers and Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters played an amazing match in the ongoing KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy 2024, which saw three super-overs to get a result in the game.

Batting first, the Hubli Tigers scored 164/10, with contributions from Mohammed Taha, skipper Manish Pandey, and Aneeshwar Gautam. Lavish Kaushal shined for the Bengaluru Blasters, scoring 5/17.

In the second innings, Bengaluru Blasters captain Mayank Agarwal led from the front, scoring 54 in 34 balls to give the team a solid start. But he failed to find help on the other end as Manvanth Kumar wreaked havoc with the ball, taking four wickets for the Tigers.

However, Naveen MG's (11-ball 23) rearguard effort allowed the Blasters to equalize the game and send it to the first Super Over.

Blasters batted first in the 1st super over and scored 10/1 with Aniruddha Joshi hitting a six off the last ball. Manish Pandey and Manvanth Kumar started well with the skipper hitting a six for the Tigers. But Lavish Kaushal managed a dot ball next ball and Pandey could only take a single of the final ball to tie the 1st super over.

Tigers batted first in the second super over and managed just 8 runs with Gneshwar Naveen bowling well and not conceding boundaries to Manish Pandey and Manvanth Kumar. Though Vidwath Kaverappa conceded a four-first ball to LR Chetan, the batter was runout a ball later. Kaverappa kept his cool and took the game into the third super over.

Aniruddha Joshi got Manvanth Kumar’s wicket on the first ball of the third super over, but Blasters managed 12 runs with Shubhang Hedge hitting a six on the final ball. In reply, Kranthi Kumar bowled brilliantly despite going for 6 runs in the first two balls and it all came down to Tigers needing a 4 to win off the last ball.

Manvanth Kumar managed to hit a four off the last ball to give Hubli Tigers the win in the third over super over and crucial points in the end.
