WATCH: India’s Mohammed Siraj dismisses Pakistan opener Imam-ul-Haq on County debut for Warwickshire

Siraj returned with the figures of 4/54 in his 19 overs on Day 1 against Somerset.

Siraj, who has established himself in India’s Test squad with some stunning performances over the last 18 months, is now plying his trade for Warwickshire against Somerset in County Championship Division One in Birmingham.

On Day 1 of the match, Siraj impressed one and all with his bowling as he drew the first blood for his side in the 10th over, claiming the prized scalp of Somerset opener Imam-ul-Haq for just 5.

The Pakistan batter has the experience of 16 Tests, 54 ODIs, and two T20Is but Siraj got the better of him with a moving ball on Monday (September 12).

Mohammed Siraj eventually returned with the figures of 4 for 54 in his 19 overs as Somerset were left reeling on 182/8 at the close of play on Day 1.

Apart from Imam-ul-Haq, Siraj’s other victims were George Bartlett (12), James Rew (0), and Josh Davey (21).
