Former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram posted an explanation after he was spotted having an animated chat with Karachi Kings captain Babar Azam during a Pakistan Super League (PSL 2022) match against Multan Sultans on Wednesday, February 16.

Akram looked furious over Azam and they had a chat near the boundary line while the match was slipping out of their hands. Notably, Karachi have lost all their 8 matches in the ongoing PSL 7, including this one.

Babar was listening to the team mentor with attention as he kept going after him. Akram explained the situation to fans after the video went viral on social media.

"Hello! Surprised to see reactions to my talking to Babar at the boundary last night. What I was saying was ‘why our bowlers are not bowling yorkers or slower ones offside off’.nothing else. Babar is a wonderful boy and has tried his best. And what he wants for dinner," Akram wrote on Twitter.

Karachi failed to defend the target of 175 runs as Multan, the table toppers, won the match by 7 wickets to secure their 7th win of the tournament so far.

The Babar-led side is officially out of the competition and they will be facing Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators in their last two league matches of the season.
