Afghanistan batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz played the trademark shot of former India captain MS Dhoni, 'Helicopter shot', as he pulled it off during the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2022) match between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi.

Playing for Islamabad, Gurbaz smashed Sohail Khan for a six when they needed 25 runs to win the match in 34 deliveries. The six reminded fans of Dhoni as he was among those who used to play it with perfection.

Islamabad defeated Peshawar by nine wickets after they chased down the target of 169 runs in just 15.5 overs. They were off to a great start with an opening stand of 112 runs between Paul Sterling and Alex Hales.

Hales remained not-out on 82, while Sterling got out after scoring 57 runs off 18 deliveries. Gurbaz played an unbeaten 16-ball 27 runs knock and smashed a couple of sixes and a four.

Earlier in the match, Peshawar posted 168 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs after Sherfane Rutherford contributed 70* runs while batting first. They were struggling at 35/4 at one stage before a good fightback with the bat. Although the runs didn't turn out to be enough for them.
