Baroda batsman Vishnu Solanki was the top scorer for his side in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy 2021 final against Tamil Nadu. Their batting order collapsed in the important game and they were at 36/6 at one stage.
But Solanki stayed in the middle and took his team to a respectable total of 120/9. Although it wasn't enough for them as Tamil Nadu chased down the target in 18 overs with 7 wickets in hand and won the title.
Talking about the highlight of Solanki's knock, it was the six in the second last over which came out off a helicopter shot. Tamil Nadu pacer Sonu Yadav bowled an overpitched delivery on leg stump and Solanki didn't miss out on it. He cleared the fence on the deep midwicket region for a six.
It was the second time Solanki executed the helicopter shot with perfection in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy 2021. He had hit one against Haryana in the quarter-final to secure a place in the semi-final.
Baroda needed 5 runs off the last delivery and Solanki had hit it for a six with a helicopter shot. The official Twitter account of BCCI domestic cricket shared the clip on their website.
Fans once again enjoyed the helicopter shot coming out of Solanki's bat. Although Baroda was in trouble, they got something to cheer for.
