Arjun Tendulkar debuts for Mumbai in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy clash against Haryana

Arjun Tendulkar | GettyIndian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar's son, Arjun Tendulkar, made his debut for Mumbai in a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy encounter against Haryana on Friday (January 15).

In contrast to his father, Arjun is more fascinated towards fast bowling. He is a left-arm quick and a left-hand batsman.

The 21-year-old has represented Mumbai Under-19 and India Under-19 in the past.

Arjun Tendulkar has previously also turned up as a net bowler for international teams. In July 2017, he gave an injury scare to England wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow while bowling to him at Lord’s.

In 2018, Arjun had provided Virat Kohli and other Indian batsmen a much-needed practice to counter the left-arm angle ahead of the Lord’s Test against England.
