Young Mumbai batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal gave the perfect reply to Kerala’s veteran bowler Sreesanth, after being given a hard stare down.
It all happened in the match between Mumbai and Kerala in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 trophy 2021 on January 13.
Mumbai had a fairly slow start with 39/0 after the first 5 overs. Kerala pacer Sreesanth, bowling his 3rd over in the spell, came in to bowl the last over of Powerplay with Yashasvi Jaiswal on strike.
The veteran tested the youngster and had an intense stare down with him after bowling a dot ball.
However, Sreesanth was in for a surprise, as Jaiswal smacked the next two balls over the boundary ropes for sixes.
Here is the video:
Sreesanth, who had conceded only 12 runs in his first 2 overs, ended up giving away 18 runs in the 6th over, while Jaiswal ended up making 40 off 32 balls.
