Brisbane Heat's Max Bryant put on an unbelievable effort to save an almost certain six against Melbourne Stars on Thursday (January 7). It was the 32nd match of Big Bash League (BBL 10) and Brisbane were defending the DLS target of 129 runs in 10 overs.
Melbourne needed 46 runs in the last two overs and on the second ball of the 9th over, Nick Larkin smashed Lewis Gregory towards the deep midwicket. It looked like going over the ropes until Bryant plucked the ball from the air and threw it back into the playing area.

Commentators were stunned and the official Twitter account of BBL called it 'unbelievable' while sharing the video. "UNBELIEVABLE from Max Bryant! This could be the best fielding game we've ever seen!! #BBL10," read the caption.
Brisbane went on to win the match by 17 runs (D/L method) despite Gregory conceding 23 runs in that over. Currently, Heat are at the fifth position in the points table with four wins in eight matches, while Melbourne slipped to number six in the spot.
