Silk is known for his amazing fielding efforts.

Jordan Silk leaps in the air to save a six | GettyAustralia’s Jordan Silk is known for his acrobatic fielding and had hogged the limelight during the BBL 2015, for an amazing catch for Sydney Sixers, against the Sydney Thunder. That catch was a one-handed screamer at mid-on off Brett Lee’s bowling.

Silk is renowned for his silken ways of catching and has quite a few numbers of highlight-reel worthy grabs in the Big Bash League over the years, though his primary job is to finish matches for the Sixers.

And he showed some of that acrobatics and silken touch in a recent game between Sydney Sixers and Hobart Hurricanes in the ongoing season opener of the BBL 10.

In the 15th over of the Hobart Hurricanes innings, Silk saved 4 runs for the Sydney Sixers when he dived beyond the boundary rope and pulled one back to stop a six. Silk went for the catch but managed to throw it while being in the air, realizing he was in no way going to keep the ball form touching the ground outside the ropes.

This effort left everybody in awe, as Silk showed what modern-day fielders can achieve with constant practice and a bit of athleticism.

Here is the video of Silk’s effort:
