Legendary Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has made it clear that he will not stop playing cricket as he confirmed his participation in the next year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL). As per a Daily Jang report, Afridi said: “I'll be playing until I’m fit and I intend to continue my cricket next year as well.”

He has been a regular part of the PSL – in the first two seasons, the legendary all-rounder played for Peshawar Zalmi and now he turns out for Multan Sultans.
The all-rounder has never won the PSL but this year, he had a great opportunity to win the trophy for Sultans, but the tournament was suspended indefinitely due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Even, Afridi had suggested the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that they should have named the Sultans the winners of PSL 2020, as they were the table-topper with 14 points while insisting there was no justification for holding the playoffs and semi-finals at a later stage amid the crisis.
Noteworthy, Afridi retired from international cricket in 2018 after representing Pakistan in 27 Tests, 398 ODIs, and 99 T20Is for over 11000 runs across the formats.
