The count of the positive cases in Pakistan jumped to 184 on Tuesday, which became a big reason why the two semi-final matches to be played on March 17 in Lahore were canceled. Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi were due to face each other in the first semi-final; while Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings were clashing in the other.

Raja, in a video widely shared on Twitter, said that Hales may have contracted the virus, hinting that necessitated the need for the league's postponement earlier in the day.

"The news coming in right now is that maybe Alex Hales is showing symptoms and he is being tested because of which this problem has arisen. We (the broadcasters) also have our tests in the next two hours,” Raja said in the video.

Now Rameez gave an update on the Alex Hales and also made fun of himself as well. “Latest on Alex Hales is that he has self-quarantined himself. No tests. Good news. Here I am though ready for my Corona test,” he posted.
