Mumbai’s Sarfaraz Khan is on a hot streak right now in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2020. He came off a brilliant 301* against Uttar Pradesh a few days ago at his home ground in Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He has continued his hitting streak against Himachal Pradesh as well.

After his brilliance in Mumbai, Sarfaraz continued his purple patch at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala, as he slammed a majestic double ton. Himachal had won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Vaibhav Arora removed Jay Bista (12) and Bhupen Lalwani (1) for cheap, while KD Singh picked the wicket of Hardik Tamore (2), leaving Mumbai 16/3. Raghav Dhawan took the wicket of Siddhesh Lad (20) and then removed Aditya Tare for 60 (8 fours) as well, after a lengthy partnership of 143 runs with Sarfaraz.

Mumbai ended day 1 on 372/5, with Sarfaraz unbeaten on 226 with 32 fours and 4 sixes. With him is Shubham Ranjane, who made 44* with 7 fours.
