Brisbane Heat batsman AB de Villiers played a blinder of an innings against Melbourne Stars on Saturday. He scored 71 off just 37 deliveries and smashed 6 sixes and a couple of fours.
Heat added 70 runs in the last 5 overs because of De Villiers' presence. He was picked man of the match for his blistering knock. The target of 187 runs turned out to be a tough ask for Stars who got dismissed in 17.4 over on a score of 115 runs.

After the match, the man of the moment shared a post on Instagram and wrote, "So much fun out there tonight with the boys! Cherrie on the cake @danielledevilliers was there at the @mcg to watch me play. @heatbbl @bbl."
India skipper Virat Kohli appreciated the super effort of his friend. He commented on De Villiers' post and called him 'the best'.
De Villiers, who joined Brisbane in the second half of the tournament, has kept his team's hopes alive to qualify for the next stage of the ongoing Big Bash League. They are currently at the sixth position in the points table.
