Cricketers have been showing their individual charisma to make the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) 2019-20 an exciting T20 extravaganza in Australia being it with the ball, the bat or extraordinary fielding, but Glenn Maxwell has been making headlines for his exclusive skill in the tournament.

Maxwell, Australian all-rounder, has surprised and impressed one and all by predicting the exact mode of dismissal during a BBL 09 match between Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades on Saturday (January 4) at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

Melbourne Stars’ captain Maxwell has shown his brilliant cricketing genius, predicting Sam Harper’s dismissal while having a chat with the commentators on the field, saying: “We might get a catch at mid-off or mid-on” which came true only after one ball at the MCG.

The incident took place in just the second over of the match when Harper came down the track on the very next delivery bowled by Nathan Coulter-Nile and hit it for a big shot towards mid-on where Daniel Worrall completed a diving catch to dismiss the opener for just 12.

Impressing by the all-rounder’s skill, Big Bash League's official Twitter handle shared a video of the dismissal on social media while calling Maxwell a "cricketing genius". The caption of the post reads: “We might get a catch at mid-off or mid-on @Gmaxi_32 is a cricketing genius #BBL09”
