The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) on Monday, November 25, released the list of the shortlisted players for the Ranji Trophy Camp beginning on Tuesday (November 26) in Delhi.

Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli is among the shortlisted 30 players who have been named in the Delhi stateside for the Ranji Trophy camp at Arun Jaitley Stadium. In the list, Ishant Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, and Rishabh Pant are the other international stars among the 30 shortlisted players in the Ranji Trophy camp.

It is being said that Kohli is unlikely to feature in the upcoming Ranji Trophy due to India commitments, but the likes of Dhawan and Ishant - who don’t feature in all formats of the game for the national side, will be available for selection for Delhi if not on national duty.

Meanwhile, Pant can also feature in the tournament. The young wicket-keeper batsman was part of India’s Test squad for the two-match series against Bangladesh but did not get a chance in the victorious campaign, thus, he was released for Delhi to play in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy.

Navdeep Saini is another India player who was named in Delhi’s shortlist team for the camp with Delhi opening their Ranji Trophy 2019-20 campaign against Kerala on December 9.
