Deodhar Trophy 2019: Final- Kedar Jadhav and Shahbaz Nadeem lead India B to title; beat India C by 51 runs

The final was played at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

India B captain Parthiv Patel won the toss and chose to bat first, but lost opener Ruturaj Gaikwad for a duck, while Patel himself got out for 14 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal made 54 with 5 fours and 1 six, while Kedar Jadhav top-scored with 86 with 4 fours and 4 sixes. Vijay Shankar made 45 in 33 balls while K Gowtham slammed 35* in 10 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes, as India B made 283/7 in 50 overs. 

Ishan Porel picked 5/43, while Jalaj Saxena and Akshar Patel picked a wicket apiece.

Priyam Garg made a valiant 74 in the chase | ScreengrabIn reply, India C captain Shubman Gill fell for 1 and Mayank Agarwal made 28. The only substantial innings came from Priyam Garg, who made 74 in 77 balls with 8 fours and 1 six. Akshar Patel made 38, while Markande added 27 runs, with Jalaj contributing 37 runs, but India C managed just 232/9 in 50 overs.

Shahbaz Nadeem shined with the ball picking 4/34 and Mohammed Siraj picked 2/43, as India B won the match by 51 runs and became the 2019 Deodhar Trophy champions.
