Curran brothers’ hilarious WhatsApp conversation after Ben’s Northamptonshire gets promoted to Div 1

Ben, Tom and Sam CurranThe Curran brothers Tom and Sam have made history together by playing for England in international cricket. Both are bowling all-rounders with Sam being left-handed and Tom being right-handed and both have an impressive record as well.

Tom was part of England’s World Cup 2019 winning squad, though he didn’t get a game in the tournament. What many might not know is that there is a third Curran brother as well, Ben, who plays for Northamptonshire in English county cricket. All the three Currans are sons of former Zimbabwe all-rounder late Kevin Curran.

While Sam and Tom Curran play for Surrey county in England County cricket, Ben has opted to play for Northamptonshire, which till recent times played in the second division in the domestic competition. Now that the county side has qualified for promotion into the first division, there are real chances of the three brothers going against one another when Surrey face Northamptonshire.

This possibility led to a hilarious conversation between the brothers as Tom welcomed Ben to division one and then Sam joined in the fun. Tom shared the convo on Twitter with a message, “Big congrats to @NorthantsCCC and @curranjb_57 on getting promoted. Have 3 brothers ever played in the same first-class fixture before?
