A funny incident happened during the Deodhar Trophy when India A batsman Ankeet Bawane walked out to bat but forgot his glove of the left hand. The game was against India C and the incident took place during the 45th over.

We have seen a similar incident in the past when Pakistan-born Australian cricketer Fawad Ahmed had walked out during the Sheffield Shield clash between Victoria and Western Australia but forgot to carry his bat.

Bawane had almost same brain fade moment. He was asked to bat after Dinesh Karthik was dismissed on 32 off 23 balls. Embarrassed after the incident, Ankeet bagged a duck and had to walk back, yes, with both the gloves on.

Bawane tried to clear the inner field after Vijay Shankar bowled a fuller length delivery. But the bat turned in his hand and the mid-wicket fielder easily took the catch to send the batsman back to the pavilion. Commentators were in splits after spotting Bawane without a glove.
