CWC 2019: Waqar Younis questions India's sportsmanship after they lose to England

Younis was disappointed after India batsmen didn't play as per their potential.

Former Pakistan fast bowler Waqar Younis believed the game between India and England wasn't played in the right spirit. Pakistan's hopes were dependent on India's win for their semi-finals' hopes and Waqar feels India lost the match voluntarily to ruin their chances for top 4.

Pakistan will now be hoping for England's defeat against New Zealand or they will be eliminated from the World Cup. India in the first and last 10 overs, didn't play as per expectations. In the first 10 overs, they only scored 28 runs while in the last 10 overs India needed 104 runs to win, but could only score 72 runs.

The batsman in the middle MS Dhoni wasn't trying to go for big hits until the last over which irked the Pakistan fans and Younis as well.

"It's not who you are.. What you do in life defines who you are.. Me not bothered if Pakistan gets to the semis or not but one thing is for sure.. Sportsmanship of few Champions got tested and they failed badly," Waqar Younis tweeted.
