The 32nd match of the ICC World Cup 2019 will be played between the arch-rivals England and Australia at the historic home of cricket, the Lord’s ground. England is coming off a loss against Sri Lanka and a loss here might mean their journey to semi-finals becomes tougher. Australia is already on a roll and will look to give it to their opponents.

England needs to get their things in order as another loss to them will mean that going into the semifinals will become tougher for them given that their next two games after Australia will be against India and New Zealand and both have good records against them.

Opening batting has been a problem for the home side, as Bairstow is yet to come good expect one inning of notice, while Vince is there to make up numbers it seems. The whole batting is dependent on Root, Morgan, Stokes, and Buttler with Ali, and Woakes presenting them with additional runs in the end. Bowling-wise Archer and Wood are ruling the roast, but Ali and Rashid are yet to come up with a very good supporting act.

Their game of going after the bowling was exposed by Sri Lanka, as they depended on others to chase it down. This time they face the challenge of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Nathan Coulter-Nile, others make a more formidable bowling attack than their last opponents.

Australia needs to get under the skin of England and they know how to do it. With Warner setting the World Cup alight with his bat and the support he has gotten with Finch also taking center stage and Smith, Khawaja and Maxwell coming good in times of need as seen the team on the second spot on the points table.

However, this time they have to face a formidable bowling attack in England who have the likes of speed merchants Archer and Wood, along with Woakes, Stokes who won't make things easy for the Aussie batting lineup.

Expect fireworks when these two amazing sides collide at the Lord’s on June 25.
