The squad saw the returns of captain Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah in the team, and some rest was given to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Rishabh Pant returned to the Indian ODI fold.

The addition of KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant and Vijay Shankar in the ODI team for the Australia series has given the experts and Indian cricket fans a slight idea that the selectors have made up their minds when it comes to the players who will be traveling to England for the ICC mega event starting May 30.
