India won its second consecutive ICC event, defeating New Zealand in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy on Sunday, March 9, to lift its third CT title.

It was a complete performance from the Indian team as New Zealand was restricted to 251/7 in 50 overs with Daryl Mitchell and Michael Bracewell scoring fifties. Varun Chakaravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav took 2 wickets each for India.

In the chase, Rohit Sharma led the way with a great knock of 76, while Axar Patel, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer chipped in with crucial knocks. India won the match by 4 wickets in hand and one over to spare.

Following India's stunning Champions Trophy 2025 triumph, a funny video featuring Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh, and Harshit Rana went viral on social media.

The trio recreated the iconic viral moment, "Final Match. You perform. "What's going on?" — amid the post-match festivities in Dubai on March 9, bringing back a viral cricket meme with a desi twist.

In the original tape that sparked the moment, a Bangladeshi reporter suffering with English famously asked West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell in the Bangladesh Premier League, stating, "Final match. You perform. "What's going on?"

Russell's puzzled reaction, as well as the interaction, rapidly became internet classics. Sunil Narine and Russell re-enacted the same clip after KKR won the IPL title last year.

Now it was India's time to relive the festivities. During a live on Instagram, Harshit Rana and Hardik Pandya were having fun, when Arshdeep Singh crashed the live segment and asked Hardik Pandya “Final match. You perform, what happening”, much to the amusement of Hardik Pandya and Harshit Rana.
