Virat Kohli might not have done much with the bat in his 300th ODI, but when India took on New Zealand in the final group stage match of Champions Trophy 2025, he did entertain the crowd at the boundary lines.
The batting maestro faltered with the bat, scoring 11, but India won comfortably by 44 runs against New Zealand to remain unblemished in Group A, and will now face ODI World Champions Australia in the semis.
During the eighth over of the contest, Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell attempted to rebuild the New Zealand innings, while the camera focused on Kohli, who delivered Ronaldo's legendary celebration, 'SIUUU', on the field.

Virat Kohli looked good with the bat for his 11 runs, but his knock was cut short by a great catch by Glenn Phillips at backward point off Matt Henry.
Earlier, India was asked to bat first by New Zealand and thanks to 79 by Shreyas Iyer and 49 by Axar Patel, posted 249/9 in 50 overs. In response, despite Kane Williamson’s 81, Varun Chakaravarthy’s 5/42 helped bundle the Kiwis out for 205 runs and win the match by 44 runs.
