India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy on Saturday (December 28) caught everyone’s attention as he pulled off the iconic step of Telugu actor Allu Arjun's movie, Pushpa, during the Boxing Day Test against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
During the 83rd over of India’s first innings, Nitish smashed Mitchell Starc over the vacant point region for a boundary to bring up his maiden Test fifty.
After reaching the milestone, Nitish was elated and he celebrated it by doing the famous 'jhukega nahi' step from the movie Pushpa.

Coming to the Melbourne Test, Rishabh Pant (28 off 37) and Ravindra Jadeja (17 off 51) frustrated the Aussies with dodged resistance after India resumed their innings at 164/5 on Day 3.
However, after both players got out in quick succession, Nitish Kumar Reddy joined forces with Washington Sundar. The pair executed a commendable rescue act for the visiting side, taking them past the 300-run mark in response to Australia’s first innings score of 474.
At the time of writing this article, India were 302/7 after 92 overs with Nitish (69) and Sundar (34) unbeaten in the middle, trailing the hosts by 172 runs.
