India and Australia are clashing in the third BGT 2024 Test that is being played in Brisbane’s Gabba ground. India won the toss and decided to bowl first, with the series leveled 1-1.

India made two changes as Ravindra Jadeja replaced R Ashwin and Akash Deep came in for Harshit Rana in the playing XI. Josh Hazlewood returned for Australia as well.

Rohit's move made perfect cricket sense because the weather were overcast and there was enough grass on the pitch to help Jasprit Bumrah, Akash Deep, and Mohammed Siraj.

However, the Indian seamers had little assistance throughout the 13.2 overs, as Australia's opening batsmen Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney played easily off both the backfoot and the front foot.

Meanwhile, even Jasprit Bumrah was frustrated with the lack of swing despite overcast conditions. The stump mic caught the India vice-captain speaking to Shubman Gill and indicating that there was no swing in offer.

Uppar lag raha hai (I am trying to bowl full),” Jasprit Bumrah told Shubman Gill after bowling the first ball of the fifth over.

After delivering the fifth ball in the same over, Bumrah told Gill, "Nahi ho raha swing aise bhi (The ball isn't swinging).

Coming back to the third Test between India and Australia, the hosts were at 28/0 after 13.2 overs when rain came down and proved to be a dampener. The remaining days' play will now begin at 5:20 AM IST, with 98 overs scheduled for each day of the Gabba Test, weather permitting.
