Bangladesh managed to fold India for 404 runs on day two of the first Test between the two sides which is being played in Chattogram. India had resumed on the second day at 278/6 with Shreyas Iyer still batting on 82 runs.
However, Ebadot Hossain sent back Iyer with a beautiful ball for 86 runs, but then R Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav came together to frustrate the Bangladeshi camp.
The spin duo batted well and added 92 runs for the 8th wicket, as Ashwin completed his 13th Test fifty and Kuldeep registered his highest Test score of 40 with 5 fours to his name.
Ashwin started taking more chances to score and when he faced Mehidy Hasan, he tried to advance down the track and hit him over the heads of the fielders for a maximum.

However, Mehidy saw Ashwin coming and shortened the length of the ball, bowling it away from him, which Ashwin missed and got stumped for 58 runs. During the dismissal, Bangladeshi keeper Nurul Hasan received the ball easily and waited a tad bit longer to dislodge the bails.
Ashwin seeing that the keeper had gotten a bit cocky, tried to make his ground back. But Hasan disturbed the bails just in time to send Ashwin back.

However, the cockiness of Nurul Hasan was slammed on social media by Twitterati who found his actions and mocking disgraceful against a senior cricketer like Ashwin.
